PREVIEW-TRANSFORMERS- REVENGE OF THE FALLEN

Hitting the screens this summer is the sequel to the 2007 movie, Transformers. Shia LaBeouf plays the role as Sam Witwicky and he is caught in the war between the Decepticons and the Autobots, except that the film has been shot at various locations including Egypt. Filmed at an estimated budget of about $200 million, the film continues from the previous part where the decepticons and the autobots are at war. There is a remaining part of the AllSpark that the Decepticons are trying to lay their hands on. But this time, the autobots are not alone. They have joined hands with the human soldiers and have formed the NEST (Networked Elements: Supporters and Transformers).

The film will premiere on June 8^th, 2009 in Tokyo. It will be released on June 19^th, 2009 in the UK and will release thereafter in all IMAX theaters in the USA on the 24^th of June, 2009. The story doesn’t end there. There have been reports of Paramount and DreamWorks announcing July 1^st, 2011 as the possible release date for a third Transformers movie, yes, and Michael Bay made this decision even before the second one was over!
